Life Safety Response

WHB Security/Life Safety staff are trained in CPR, first-aid and AED use and they will respond to all building and medical emergencies. They are the first responders for medical, fire, weather-related and all other emergencies occurring in the complex. Building security personnel participate in weekly drills related to Life Safety and emergency situations.

In the event of a building emergency (fire, severe weather, earthquake, etc.), notification and response instructions will be communicated via the public address system on each floor. Emergency evacuation maps are posted by each stairwell, as well as in each maintenance center.

Treat each alarm as an actual emergency and follow the evacuation procedures for your floor. Do not contact the Life Safety Console to inquire about the validity of an alarm; you will be instructed to follow the evacuation procedures for your area.

If you call 911 as a result of a medical emergency, please be sure also to notify Life Safety, 918.573.3000, provide your name, callback number, and location so that security may swiftly guide the first responders to your exact location.
